Each foster carer is allocated a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker and receives regular supervision in line with national standards. Annual foster carer reviews are conducted, and carers are provided with written supervision records and action plans.
Foster carers also receive 24-hour out-of-hours support and access to professional advice when required, ensuring they are fully supported in their role.
Foster carers are recognised as valued professionals and key partners in delivering high-quality care. They work collaboratively with social workers, local authorities, and other professionals to support children’s development, wellbeing, and outcomes.
Carers are expected to promote stability, support education and health needs, encourage positive relationships, and ensure children’s voices are heard and respected.
If you are interested in becoming a foster carer, you can begin the process by making an enquiry with our team. We will provide guidance throughout each stage of the application, assessment, and approval process to ensure you are fully prepared for the role.
